I wish you had parking that was always available and well lit. Other than that I love shopping at your store, you almost always have what I need, and when you don't you offer suggestions on what I can do. Keep up the good work. But please fix your parking.

Tent City has some pretty good merch. and thier sales personell are attentive(a little too attentive). While shopping there I almost had a feeling that if I were to have stopped short the sales associates nose would have had to be surgically removed from my ass, and there exists what seems to be a desparate attempt to sell me things I don't need. When I first walked in, I was greeted by at least 5 sales personell."Hello There, Hi!, Hey, How ya doin, crazy weather, and such. Jeez guys I know it's slow but lighten up a bit.

I think we've been shopping at the store since I was a kid (now 35):) We've gotten tents there, truck caps, now most recently things for scouting and hiking back packs(unbelievable sale price bought 2) To address the sales help comment made in an another post, yes they are there, almost everywhere you turn you'll find someone, but we like it that way. When I have a question or need something I HATE having to look for staff, or worse yet wait for more than 10 min for someone to get around to helping me. Why do you think I tend to shop the smaller places such as this?? The customer service is a major pull. Reputable operations, prices etc all matter as well, but I'm willing to pay a bit more if need be to get the sales help I want. My last visit was sometime early summer. Had great help from one of your guys, we dropped over $300. The kids got some free light sticks (they loved those-thanks). Hubby's been in since, and I'm sure we'll be back before the annual camping trip to canada in the summer. Can't say much about the parking though, it was daylight.

I'm a frequent shopper at TC.  Hunt licenses to scout stuff.  The staff can be a little over attentive.  When shopping, I'm not always looking for anything, just browsing and perhaps in my own thoughts in this store of adult toys.  I understand the stores's need for security and desire to be helpful but when sales people follow you from aisle to aisle you tend to get self conscious and wanna leave.  I didn't write the blog but do agree with the sentiment of a LITTLE too attentive.  During my last visit the suggestions to consider certain items was harmless salesmanship, and far from pushy.  TC is far better than the indifferent, demeaning and suspicious vibe I get at local gun shops and outdoor retailers.
Overall, I love the store and the atmosphere.  Hate the lack of parking.

I shop your store occasionally for boy scout merchandise for my son and have always found your staff to be extremely helpful and friendly and not the least bit pushy.  We love shopping at your store.

I have shopped at Tent City for over 10 years now. They have a lot of variety when it comes to outdoor sports items from shoes to canoes to firearms and so on. I have gotten fair to good deals on most of the merchandise. I have to agree with the person who posted bove though that sometimes I feel as if I am under surveillance of the store clerks and if I stopped short I would have to remove at least one of them from my posterior! In addition they have a rather weird way of checking out, but I can live with bring a sales slip to the cashier to pay, then going back to the counter to get my merchandise so long as their prices remain competive and their stock remains abundant. Finally I will say all the personnel in the store are fairly friendly.
